I’m a complete product junkie.  Hair care, skin care, you name it, I’ve probably tried it.  I’m constantly looking for that new product sensation hittin’ the nation- the “holy grail”; the bee’s knees of products.  It’s never happened in my, let’s see…. probably 20 some-odd-years of  product-obsessive behavior.  But, that doesn’t mean I’ll quit trying!  I’ve found some good ol standbys along the way but I’m just. never. quite. satisfied. Ugg.

I thought it might be fun to do a “product of the week” post to share my research with any other junkies out there.

This week- Hair.

I’m inspired- Why?  I’m having a particularly good hair day today.  It smells really good.  It’s behaving.  It’s shiny.  It’s voluminous (well, as voluminous as my baby-fine, thin-as-shit-hair can be).

The reason?

Bumble and Bumble Creme de Coco Shampoo and Conditioner. Love it.  Try it and you  might too!

Shitty Economy Alternative?

Loreal Pro Vive (or Vive Pro like the bottle says- doesn’t sound right)- Hydra-gloss for dry hair

It doesn’t leave my hair with as much body as the B&B but it sure as shit smells good (almost just like the B&B) and it actually makes for a pretty good substitute when I don’t have the $ for the good stuff.  And, it does make it pretty shiny, too.

Next week?  Facial lotion/potion?  Cleanser?  Mascara?  Oh boy, who knows, but I’m très heureux- hope you are too!
